Rudolph Day!

Hi everyone,

Today I am posting my six Christmas cards that I have made for Sarn's

Sarn hosts a challenge every 25th of the month to make one Christmas card to add to your collection so that when the 'C word' day approaches we have at least a few cards made in preparation! I must admit I have been pretty slack with my C word card making this year but will definitely be joining in with this challenge every month now I have the time.

The challenge this month was to make six cards as it is the sixth month of the year... when I read this my face probably looked something like this...

but I rose to the challenge and now I have six lovely Christmas cards made. Thanks Sarn!!

Just to prove I have made six I thought I would post a photo of the individual cards.

You might have noticed one of the stars is slightly different on one of the cards... that's because I ran out before I got to number 6 :-( nevermind.

Ingredients:

- card stock from hobbycraft
- blue backing papers forever friends christmas pack
- sentiment by papermania
- trees snippets from leftover christmas card making last year! I think these were downloaded from clipart!
- stars from an accessorize card making set

I would like to enter these in to the following challenges:

LOTV Cute Square

Hello you gorgeous peeps!

Hope you are having a lovely Saturday.

I have made this card using a Lili of the Valley Cute Square, I have about 20 of these to use up in various designs but don't know where to start as they are so pretty, I feel like I cannot 'prettify' the cards enough.

I have a confession to make... my cards are usually imagined in my head and then something COMPLETELY different comes out on paper.. and that's what happened with this little number. In fact... I have a few card blanks with papers already stuck on in various different sketches but can never find the right image or the right embellishments to add :-( I think my mojo does a wander after about 30 minutes. Does anyone else have this problem? Or a solution? Tehe.

Ingredients:

- 6x6 scalloped card by craftwork cards (i really must get some SQUARE cards)
- teahouse papers by dovecraft
- pink paper a freebie download
- docrafts pink card stock
- LOTV Cute Square
- Ice Stickles on flowers, image and cardstock
- flowers by WHSmith
- Buttons and pearls from stash
- ribbon by Dovecraft

Forever Friends

Hi everyone,

I was supposed to upload this properly yesterday but my laptop got a bug mid-post and closed down my laptop. Argh! Safe to say it's ok now though.

I had to make this card for my friend yesterday as she had some bad news about our course and may have to be backgrouped 6 months which means she may not qualify with us :-( It is really sad as she has been one of my closest friends throughout the 3 years and it wouldn't be right if she wasn't at our graduation in October. She has an appeal on Tuesday so I am keeping all things crossed for her.

Ingredients:

- 6x6 scalloped edge cards by craftwork cards
- FF image printed from docrafts CD
- sentiment also from CD
- pink scalloped oval from snippets
- backing papers from Computer Scrapbook

Tattered Florals

Hello again :)

Second post today!

It is my Aunty's Birthday in the next few days so I have made her this card. I am unhappy with how the photo came out though as the glittered edges look very messy - in true life they are not at all and really compliment the papers. The joys of cameras hey!

The only thing I think this card is missing is a nice dinky heart charm to hang off the cord but I don't have any at the moment! Nevermind.

Ingredients

- 6x6 scalloped edge card
- Cart-us dies
- Tim holtz tattered florals die
- Musical papers downloaded from Vintage Digistamps
- My minds eye pink papers snippets
- Pearls and cord from stash
- Green and pink papers downloaded from Correen Silke at Silke Scraps
- Sentiment generated on the computer with 'Edwardian script' font

Something to share with you...

Hi all!

Just wanted to share something with you all... No more boring 'I have so much work to do' posts...

As this is a photo of my LAST piece of work!!

Handing it in tomorrow with some friends then we are having lunch.

It certainly feels like there is a weight off my shoulders now.

I will be posting more cards in the future :-)

I would also like to say a huge thank you to Rebecca for sending me some gorgeous blog candy today that I won on her blog recently! I cannot believe how generous people are, please take a look at her blog as her work is beautiful.

New Addition To The Family

Good morning all!

Happy Saturday! Hope you have a lovely weekend and that the weather stays nice for you. We are off to a concert tonight so hopefully the weather will stay nice as it's outside. Got my retro wellies just in case!!

I really enjoyed making this card as it is for a new addition to our family, I can't wait to meet him!
I am probably going to attempt to make a box to put it in too. I say attempt as I have never made one before and it will probably look like something from Blue Peter! I've got an idea of how to make one but does anyone know of any good tutorials? Thanks!

Onto the ingredients:

- 6x6 craftwork card scalloped edge
- image downloaded from google images and recoloured
- blue ice stickles on the feet
- papers were a free download from Computer Scrapbook (this website has lots of free downloads!)
- Sentiment computer generated
- pearls and ribbons from stash

Fathers Day Card

Hello Everyone!

How are you all?

Sorry I haven't been around recently, I have been a busy girl the past couple of weeks. I'm at my final hurdle now with only 500 words to go of my last assignment then my days off will really be DAYS OFF!!

I have decided to post this card early, I was going to come back when my final assignment was finished but I would like to enter this card into Di's Snippets Challenge as the brown card used was made from snippets of leftover card.

After my recent post I finally decided on the image I wanted to use for this card and that was Mo's Digital Pencil! I just love Mo's images and will definitely be investing in some more of those in the future, it was so fun to colour too.

Aside from this being the first card I have made using a digi-stamp, I have done my first ever piece of paper piecing too! I was really pleased with the results and will doing this again soon.

Ingredients:

- 6x6 craftwork cards scalloped edge card blank
- Papers were a free download from online (unknown author unfortunately)
- HOTP soft nostalgia backing papers (snippets)
- Mo's digital pencil stamp Big Guy Grilling coloured with Promarkers
- Sentiment created on word
