Happy Christmas Everyone!!

Hi Everyone!

Hope we are all getting close to being ready for the Big Day!! 

Just like lots of other nurses in the world I will be working Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year, I think there's something special about being in a hospital on Christmas Day though. If you can brighten up just one person's day then it's worth it!

As I will be working I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a fantastic Christmas, and hope that you all have a wonderful time with your loved ones.

Also, thank you so much for all of your support throughout the year on my blog and in my personal life too, I graduated, started a new job and started renovating a house and without your support these things would not have been easy so thank you!!

As I have reached 100 followers, I will be posting some candy in the New Year so keep an eye out for that.

So on to the card...

I made this one for the man in the my life! A bit girly but I thought it was a lovely image.

I decoupaged the Forever Friends Image and added stickles. The papers are original Forever Friends papers. Of course I had to use up the last of my pom pom trim on this card too, something I have been using a lot on my Christmas cards this year. I handmade the sentiment and punched a couple of snowflakes too. 

Once again, have a lovely Christmas all of you. I will catch up with you very soon!

Hi everyone,

I have since updated this card with a better photo! My Mum actually took the photo at the top on her mantelpiece, it was a lot lighter than my first one! Maybe I should send my cards over to Norfolk to be photographed prior to blogging haha.

I have been using up my Lili Of The Valley Cute Squares a lot recently, they are just so handy for quick cards!

I also had a trip to hobbycraft on my Birthday with my Mum and treated myself to a holly border and snowflake punch which appear on this card! 

Papers are a mix of Pink Petticoat (as per usual) and Forever Friends.

Purple Christmas!

Hi All,

How are you? Hope you've had a good week. I've got 4 days off now, have a long weekend off for my Birthday on Monday. My Mum is coming down as my Dad is on a course, it'll be the first year I haven't seen him on my Birthday so I'm a bit sad about that. 

I have made this card for my Nanna for Christmas, I have never used purple before on a Christmas card, I'm too much of a traditional girl to be honest - however, I really like how this has turned out!!

I used a LOTV cute square and some papers from Pink Petticoat and DCWV.

This is also the first time I have used flowers on my card but again I really like how this has turned out.

Please excuse the lighting in the photo, as I'm sure most of you are aware the weather is a bit pants at the moment!

Forever Friends Christmas Challenge

How are you?

Sorry for the lack of posting recently, I have been very busy working my long days so just don't have the time or energy to create cards when I get in.

I am very lucky that I have got a few days off now so shall be creating until my hearts content! I always find that the days I am working I get so much mojo and inspiration to make cards, it's probably because I know I can't!

I made a card last night for my first ever DT posts challenge, Christmas Cards over at 

I used a Forever Friends image

Backing papers from a freebie stack I got with a magazine (no name unfortunately)

I created the text myself (which I wasn't entirely happy with the font after it had printed)

Gems, ribbon and stickles to finish.

Another christmas card and some news!

Hi everyone,

No I have not suddenly got married, this card was made as an order for a lady at work. That is not my big news don't worry!

My big news is that I recently applied to be a member of the Forever Friends Challenge Blog Design Team and I have been kindly chosen!!! I am so excited, this is my first ever post as a DT Member and I cannot wait to start working with the girls.
