Thinking of you at Christmas

Hi everyone, hope you had a lovely weekend.
I have made this card as an order for a lady at work that wanted a card for somebody close to her who recently lost someone in her family.

I did not want to make this card too Merry, so thought I would go for traditional colours and use a nice image from the traditional LOTV Christmas squares.

Papers from Pink Petticoat (this seems a regular occurance at the moment, I just LOVE them!)
Image from Lili of the Valley
Sentiment Generated on the computer
Pearls and ribbon from stash

Ho ho ho

Hi everyone! Hope you are all well.

I made this card last week for a younger member of our family, I used an image from Jelly Park and decoupaged some of the elements and covered it in stickles!

I think the image speaks for itself so didn't do too much embellishing.

Image is from JellyPark, I think it is so magical! It makes me very excited for Christmas.
Papers are from Pink Petticoat, I used snippets left over from another card.

Football Crazy

Hi everyone,
How has your week been so far? Nearly the weekend! I have made this 21st card for a work colleague who ordered this yesterday. I hope it is to her taste!

A sideways view.

I made the card with mainly microsoft publisher and made the background by typing 'football' over and over in a funky font.
Background is from Pink Petticoat.

Have your cake and eat it!

Personally I'm not a huge fan of cake myself! However I do want to share a photo of the cake I was made for my 21st, it's me sat on my bed in my student nurse uniform! It was amazing and it tasted delicious!

I think you'll agree with me the cake is FANTASTIC!

All ingredients (for the card not the cake):
- Papers from Pink Petticoat
- Image from Forever Friends DoCraft CD
- Ribbon from stash
- Sentiment by DoCrafts

A bit of CASEing for the first time...

Hi everyone,

I am new to this CASEing thing but I thought I would give it a go...

I downloaded Pink Petticoats 'Old Fashioned Girl' Set last week and was requested to make an Anniversary Card for someone at work so decided to use my new papers.

I knew I wanted to use the main image as my sentiment and then the hearts papers when I stumbled upon the super talented Sarita of Little Princess Cards who had made this lovely card here.

My design is very similar but with a few different elements to it.

A Humphreys Christmas

Hi all,

Hope you are having a lovely weekend, wasn't it nice to have an extra hour in bed this morning? That mean's I was really lazy and that I actually woke up at 11!! Whoops. We won't tell anyone ;-)

I have made this Christmas card for 2 very special little people in our lives, they are new to the family so thought it would be nice to make a special card for them.

Ingredients:
- I have used a freebie decoupage sheet and backing paper that came free with a magazine last week
- Blue paper snippets from Summertime Designs
- Snowball pompom ribbon candy win
- Sentiment computer generated
- Gems and stickles from stash

Double whammy

Hi Everyone! How are you? Sorry I have been a bit AWOL recently, we have been at the house nearly every day since we got the keys around 2 weeks ago. We have stripped every room of wallpaper, skirting boards, doorframes etc in the last 2 weeks and are having the plumber and electrician round in the next couple of weeks so hopefully the ball will start rolling. I will post some photos up of before and after if people interested in the near future?

Anyway, on to cards! The cards above may seem familiar, I made 2 of them a while ago and yesterday decided to make 2 sets of 5 so voila, we now have 10! I had left over snippets from the first 2 cards so used up the lot in making these!

These are the cards in their sets of 5 all packaged and ready to go!
I am holding another card stall after last weeks success so thought some sets of cards might go down a treat!

Here are the sets I have so far, the ones in the middle were also made a while ago.

All ingredients come from Pink Petticoat!

Craft stall

Hi everyone,

Woohoo the weekend is here! Unfortunately I am working tomorrow but nevermind!

Thought I would share a photo of our craft stall we held in the hospital yesterday, you can see my cards on the left hand side of the table nicely wrapped in cellophane. It looked so neat that I didn't want anyone to buy anything!

Luckily we made around £100 between us to raise money for the ward I work on so I was really pleased.

We might be needing wellies soon!

Hi everyone,
Hope you had a great weekend, nearly half way through the week!

I have made a batch of cards today for this card stall I am attending on Thursday, I have not made anywhere near as many as I'd have liked but nevermind, some is better than none!
