Mothers Day Card

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing this card I have made for my Mum for Mothers Day tomorrow. I had seen these gorgeous Mum sentiments on Pink Petticoats boutique and just loved the words so got them recently to make a little something with.

I am a big fan of Jules' Blog too, Jules has inspired me with all of her gorgeous Mothers Day creations and my card was inspired by one of her stunning designs. Thank you for the inspiration Jules! 

The card used Pink Petticoat papers, a Tim Holtz Tattered Floral Die, a Corner Die by Memory Box and the Butterflies are Woodware Punches.

AWOL

Hi all, sorry I have been a bit AWOL recently, I have been doing a lot of overtime to try and get some extra money as I have to sort out my car (aka rust bucket) :-( I'm also on nights so have been sleeping a couple of hours then going round the house to do some more renovating! It has certainly changed since the last photos I uploaded. I will post some more soon.

How have you all been? Hope you are well.

I have still been making cards so will try and post some more as soon as I can.

For now, here is a card with a gorgeous A Day For Daisies Image which I have coloured and mounted on to a 6x6 card.

February monthly challenge

Here is my DT card for the challenge, I used a gorgeous image by Saturated Canary who kindly sponsored our challenge

Kraft card and backing paper by Pink Petticoat, I added flowers and butterflies with pearls.

I also made a Forever Friends card, similar to one I have made before, this was for a lady at work.

I used Forever Friends papers, lettering and an image. I punched a couple of flowers and added pearls.

Hi everyone, here I am posting my first ever coloured Saturated Canary card.

I am reasonably pleased with how it turned out, I have expanded my promarkers collection slowly and have watched and viewed many tutorials! Practice makes perfect hey?

The beautiful papers are Pink Petticoat, I added pearls, flowers, twine and a sentiment. 

I have slowly been wading through my snippets box and managed to use up more left over card!

Chocolate box

Hi everyone,

How are you all?

I have been off work this week and typically have got a cold! Isn't that always the way, you have time off and get ill so you don't feel like doing anything! 

Luckily I still have the energy to make a card!

I have made this card using 'chocolate box' by Lili of the Valley. I stamped and coloured the image last year but never got round to putting it on to a card so have made this 5x5 number to add to the box!

I used snippets of card to make this card. The spotty paper is pink petticoat.

I added hobby craft flowers, a purple brad and some pink pearls.

Rudolph Day Challenge

Hi All!

Woohoo! I have made my first entry for Sarn's Rudolph Day Challenge, the first of the year!

I got some lovely coloured gems and wooden snowflakes for Christmas and this is their first outing. I used a LOTV cute square and added stickles and some red cord. Papers are from Pink Petticoat. I also used a new Distress Ink Pad I got for Christmas too, it is 'Antique Linen' and is the first time I have ever used distress inks! You can't really see the result in the photo but I am really pleased with the way it turned out in RL.

As I used snippets up (red papers) I would like to enter this card in to Di's Snippet Challenge.

Another one to add to the box! This year it is my resolution to try and build up my 'pink box', the box I hold all of my cards in. Last year I had the most cards I had ever made, then sold them all on a stall so now don't have too many :-( 

I get very envious when I see other people's card stashes! I need to build mine up so hopefully you will see lots more cards from me, trying to fill up my box! What do you keep your cards in and do you have many?

Monkeying around part 2!

Hi all,

here is monkey number 2! I am not so keen on monkey number 2, I was disappointed with my promarkers, one had dried out and I didn't realise until I started colouring monkeys mouth hence the random line! (Hopefully you can't see too much) does anyone have any tips for dried out promarkers? Or is it a case of say bye bye and throw in the bin?

I would like to enter this card in to Pixies crafty snippets challenge as all of the papers used snippets, slowly trying to get through my pile!

I would also like to enter this card into bugaboos bingo challenge!
