Hiatus

Hi all,

I have decided to have a blogging hiatus, just for a little while... I find I don't have enough time for crafting at the moment what with trying to get the house ready to move in to and work. I also have to start a new job in a month as I am on rotation so have a few things going on currently which means I'm going to take a short break from blogging.

I will continue to work for my Forever Friends design team and may occasionally post the odd card if I get chance, I just thought it would be good to announce that I may not be as regular as usual rather than leave you in the dark!

We are looking to move in to our house in the next month or two so hopefully it won't be long until I have my craft room up and running and can start making cards regularly!!

21st Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

Hope you have had a lovely weekend and week!

I spent last weekend at home in Norfolk with my parents after they returned from their holiday in Egypt. 

I have made this card for my best friend for her 21st birthday. I must admit, I absolutely loved how this one turned out! Probably one of my favourites and I think that might be down to the gorgeous flowers, they remind me of all the lovely flowers out at the moment! Thank you so much Di ;-)

The image is from kanban crafts and I used snippets of white card for the butterfly and the swirlies! All of the flowers are from wild orchid crafts, absolutely stunning! Background paper from kanban crafts too. Topped with glitter, pearls and a gorgeous wooden heart bought off ebay!

A little giveaway

Hi all!

I had a little clear out of one of my craft drawers today and have these wooden stamps I have hardly used. Some of them haven't even been inked! They may catch your eye, or they may be suitable for the younger people you know!

Mothers Day Card

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing this card I have made for my Mum for Mothers Day tomorrow. I had seen these gorgeous Mum sentiments on Pink Petticoats boutique and just loved the words so got them recently to make a little something with.

I am a big fan of Jules' Blog too, Jules has inspired me with all of her gorgeous Mothers Day creations and my card was inspired by one of her stunning designs. Thank you for the inspiration Jules! 

The card used Pink Petticoat papers, a Tim Holtz Tattered Floral Die, a Corner Die by Memory Box and the Butterflies are Woodware Punches.

AWOL

Hi all, sorry I have been a bit AWOL recently, I have been doing a lot of overtime to try and get some extra money as I have to sort out my car (aka rust bucket) :-( I'm also on nights so have been sleeping a couple of hours then going round the house to do some more renovating! It has certainly changed since the last photos I uploaded. I will post some more soon.

I have still been making cards so will try and post some more as soon as I can.

Here is my DT card for the challenge, I used a gorgeous image by Saturated Canary who kindly sponsored our challenge

Kraft card and backing paper by Pink Petticoat, I added flowers and butterflies with pearls.

I also made a Forever Friends card, similar to one I have made before, this was for a lady at work.

I used Forever Friends papers, lettering and an image. I punched a couple of flowers and added pearls.
