Guess what Santa bought me!?

Hi all,
Just thought I would post up as it is our unofficial 'boxing day' at my house today. We opened our pressies yesterday and had a lovely Christmas dinner together. I was extremely lucky and was bought.....

... a Big Shot!!!!

I am so pleased and cannot wait to start using it! The only problem now is that I would like to buy some Promarkers/copics so that I can colour my images after they have been die cut... but I do not know where to start!
I have had a look at LOTV's useful colours chart:

http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/acatalog/Marker_Pen_Colour_Suggestions.html

(really helpful) so have a small idea of the colours I will need, but would like to start with a few basics.
If any of you know where I can start and which company's do the best deals I would be very grateful. I will also need to buy some dies now too! How exciting!!

Hope you are all well
:-)

Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas everyone!
Hope you are all having a lovely time with your families and friends.
I have spent Christmas with my partner and his family so will be going home tomorrow to see my family and have our 'second Christmas', how exciting!
I was very lucky and I got some stickles glitter glues in various colours, some sticky pads (which I was in desperate need of) and some scalloped edge sizzix dies! I will be purchasing a die cutting machine in the new year so will make good use of those.
It was my 21st Birthday last weekend and I had the most amazing weekend and was very spoilt, everything goes so quickly though when you have been looking forward to it for so long :(
Enjoy the rest of the festive period and I look forward to blogging some more in the New Year!

Mum and Dads Christmas card

Hi everyone, I have just made my Mum and Dads Christmas card. I am seeing them on Friday and can't wait as I haven't seen them in 3 months now! It is my 21st Birthday and we are going to London for the weekend which will be wonderful.
I made the card using the scalloped edged cards I bought from hobbycraft, alongside the Forever Friends Christmas decoupage set. The papers are from the free downloads at summertimedesigns.blogspot.com.
Hope you are all getting ready for Christmas :-)
Thanks for looking!

50th Birthday Card

Hi everyone, hope you are well.

I have made a 50th Birthday card today for my best friends Mum.
I took a trip to Hobbycraft at the weekend and purchased some cards and found these beauties for £4.99! (thanks Di!)
I had to stop myself from buying too much (not easy) but came home with a packet of these Tulip die cut toppers for 99p! She is so cute and there are various designs (see pic below) and I am very pleased with how the card turned out and hope she likes it :-) thanks for stopping by.

Scalloped cards - Hobbycraft
Tulip Birthday Diecut topper - Hobbycraft
Pink spotty paper - Free download from summertimedesigns.blogspot.com
Cream paper - Paper Mill Shop
50 and butterfly topper - Express Yourself DIY Cards
Flower 'confetti' - Hobbycraft
Ribbon and heart gems - From my stash :-)

A forever friends Christmas

I was just in the middle of writing this card to a family member when it suddenly dawned on me that I hadn't taken a photo of it yet! I made it a few months ago using forever friends backing papers from the Christmas pad, ribbon from my stash as well as punched snowflakes from my stash. The forever friends bear is a clear sticker layered onto backing paper. :-)
Thanks for looking!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Hi all, hope you are all well. I am suffering from a bit of a cold at the moment :(
I have just changed my blog layout and now it is looking very festive!
I have been making more sentiments and bits and pieces for you to download so will be posting those up.
As I said before, if you take any of these or use them on your cards, well number one, I would be so pleased!! But number two, could you just let me know (so that I know I'm doing good and that you like them) either through a comment or becoming a follower.

Thank you so much and have a good day!
