Slight hiatus...

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't been posting much recently, I have had a lot of work on.
They said our third year would be tough but... BLIMEY!
I have about 4 weeks left until the mayhem is over and then I will be finally have time to relax and enjoy my spare time.
I just wanted to let you all know that I may not be posting very much over the coming weeks, I may not be commenting as much but I still take a peek at all of your blogs when I have the time.

Hope you are all well, I will see you in a few weeks when my life returns back to normal!

BBQ

Hi All,

Happy Sunday!!

I am posting for some advice and possibly a couple of links!

I am going to make a Birthday card for my Dad (not until the end of August yet) but wanted to look early as I want to find an image (digi or stamp) of a man bbq-ing.

I remember seeing one around somewhere a while ago but silly me didn't write the name down!

If anyone comes across anything like this or knows of any good websites, I would greatly appreciate a link.

Thanks a bunch :)

Edit: Thank you all for your FAB suggestions!! I didn't realise there were so many out there, I have gone for the Mo's digital pencil image so THANKS!

Mmmm Icecream!

Hi Everyone,

How are you doing? Hope you are having a good week.

Sorry I haven't been around much! Deadlines are closing in so I'm either working or at home doing coursework at the moment. However, this evening I managed to squeeze in some 'me time' and made a card.

I used a stamp set I have been wanting to use for some time now and I am quite pleased with the outcome!

I have always admired the 'distressed' look too, so thought I would try my hand at it with the scissors... what do you think? I could do with having more materials, especially Mr Holtz goodies but that will have to wait until I am qualified!

Ingredients:

- 6x6 craftwork card blank
- polkadoodles image and sentiment stamped onto scraps of white card
- do crafts tea house papers
- card stock from stash
- buttons from hobby craft
- ribbon from stash
- heart stickers from macy's

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
The Paper Shelter - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking :)
