Forever Friends Surprise

Hi all,

Hope you are well, it's getting so dark now isn't it! I keep waking up thinking my alarm must be wrong but I do have to wake up :-(

I made this card for a lady at work who's Birthday was yesterday. I took a bunch of my cards in to work yesterday and 8 of them sold with 2 requests made! I was over the moon! I have never sold my cards so I was very pleased, it is nice to know people like your work.

I have been working in my job for 4 weeks now and am enjoying every second! I got my first pay cheque yesterday too which I was VERY excited to open!! Unfortunately I won't be able to have a big splurge as a lot of it will be going on...

A MORTGAGE!

My big news that I posted about a few weeks ago was that Sean and I had our offer accepted on a house! It is our first house and is taking quite a long time to go through so I am keeping my fingers crossed right until the end as I know sometimes things can go wrong. We should have about 2-3 weeks left now until it is fully complete :)

Ingredients:
- 6x6 card blank
- FF background papers
- FF image
- Flowers from stash
- Sentiment from FF stickers

What's on my work desk Wednesday 172

This is my desk today! I have a couple of card making magazines laying around, my recent New Baby Boy card, my lovely 'handmade by Laura' stamp that my Mum and Dad bought me a few years ago, it has stamped nearly every one of my cards and is still going strong! How do you personalise your crafts so people know you've made it?

I also have some beautiful pink and yellow roses on my desk that my lovely other half kindly bought me last week "just because", how lucky am I?

Here you can see a close up of the Lucy Cromwell decoupage I have been cutting and sticking whilst I have been watching TV recently, it's amazing how relaxing it is! Here are 4 of the designs ready to be used. They are so pretty though I don't think a card of mine will be able to do the images justice!

Hope you are all having a nice Wednesday, back to work for me tomorrow then home for the weekend :-)

Yet MORE Christmas cards

Hi everyone!

I really was on a roll last week when I made my Christmas cards, here are the last 2 from last weeks marathon.

All items on the card were purchased from the gorgeous Pink Petticoat. These took hardly any time at all, just a case of using a couple of dies and layering on to 2 different backing papers. I have lots of these little cards to use up so these might be making an appearance again soon!

I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to all of you that have posted such lovely comments on my blog about me graduating and starting work recently, I know I don't know any of you in person but it feels like you have a real community of friends when you have a blog and your support has really been appreciated so thank you!

I started my new job yesterday and had a great day, I loved it and it felt very surreal wearing a different uniform and having a badge that said 'staff nurse' on it, I kept looking at it thinking 'that can't be me in the picture' haha.
