Good morning all!
Happy Saturday! Hope you have a lovely weekend and that the weather stays nice for you. We are off to a concert tonight so hopefully the weather will stay nice as it's outside. Got my retro wellies just in case!!
I really enjoyed making this card as it is for a new addition to our family, I can't wait to meet him!
I am probably going to attempt to make a box to put it in too. I say attempt as I have never made one before and it will probably look like something from Blue Peter! I've got an idea of how to make one but does anyone know of any good tutorials? Thanks!
Onto the ingredients:
- 6x6 craftwork card scalloped edge
- 6x6 craftwork card scalloped edge
- image downloaded from google images and recoloured
- blue ice stickles on the feet
- papers were a free download from Computer Scrapbook (this website has lots of free downloads!)
- Sentiment computer generated
- pearls and ribbons from stash
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Thanks for looking,
Have a great weekend!

Beautiful card Laura, those tiny feet are so very sweet!
How exciting too, a gorgeous baby boy, bet you can't wait for a cuddle?
Have a great weekend xx
Hi Laura - super card honey!
Boxes - I bet Sarn could help out, she's a whizz at making boxes and would have some tips and hints/links. Otherwise, I buy mine flat ready to assemble and can easily pop one in the post 1st Class (still flat) for you to make up on Monday (you'd get it on Tuesday) - or even send an assembled one in a padded envelope. Even the pre-creased and cut ones that I buy can be messed up first time so perhaps if I made it up ready it would help - trust me, I do know this! They take the 6" square cards perfectly. That might not be soon enough though :(

Hi Laura . . . sorry I haven't popped in until now. Splitcoast Stampers are a great place for tutorials.
I do make my own custom-mnade boxes but I have a special scoreboard to make them with. A scoreboard makes everything a lot easier and if you plan to make lots of boxes . . . I recommend you get one.
Hugs, Sarn xxx
