Thank You card for my bestie

Hi all, hope you are well.

I am posting yet another thank you card! I promise I only have a few more to post up...

My best friend Nicole bought me a stack of paper crafting goodies back from New Yorks Macy's Store when she went this year, for my Birthday and Christmas, so I thought it would be a nice idea to make her a card using some of the papers (especially as they say friendship of them).

The image hasn't quite come out as I was expecting so some of the colours look a little 'offish' but I can promise you that they match in real life :) Why does that always happen eh?

Ingredients:

- 8x8 scalloped card from Hobbycraft
- backing papers from Macy's
- 'thanks so much' die by sizzix
- butterfly confetti from Hobbycraft
- flower die from cheery lynn
- gems from stash
- card stock from stash

I am back at uni this week, in 3 days until 5pm so I have 4 days off (lucky me!) to make cards
do some uni work ;-)

Thanks for looking!

Laura xx

Awww, Laura - lovely card and love the backstory :) Thank you for joining my blog. Also, for photographing your creations, see Suzanne Dean's blog (scrapbitz.blogspot.com) - she has a wonderful tutorial on photographing your creations. I am a photographer and mostly take my pix on my kitchen countertop with a piece of black velvet as my backdrop. But have also taken them outside (weather permitting/time of day - nightowl here, so don't get to do this very often). I applaud your choice of life's work - I bet you are a wonderful children's nurse, and will soon be fully accredited - BRAVO! wendy xx
